SPOTLIGHT...........................................................................................................................

Ascott marks 25 successful years as the top international serviced residence owner-operator with over 25 community initiatives worldwide. These activities range from supporting the educational needs of underprivileged children to funding their medical treatment. The driving force behind these 25 community initiatives is to commemorate Ascott's 25th Anniversary by giving back to the communities where the company operates in.

In Singapore, Ascott staff raised S$25,000 to support the educational and developmental needs of children under the care of Chaoyang School, Pertapis Children's Home, and TOUCH Young Arrows, a service of TOUCH Community Services. Through these efforts, Ascott hopes to create a brighter future for the children from these beneficiaries. CapitaLand Hope Foundation has also extended a S$25,000 top-up for the three Singapore charities.

Winners Of Ascott's 25TH Anniversary First Monthly Draw

As part of Ascott's 25th Anniversary celebrations, a slew of special rates and promotions were unveiled on 1 April 2009. The April winner of the first monthly lucky draw was Mr John Harris, whose stay at Citadines London Barbican qualified him for the draw. Mr Harris and his wife, who chose to stay at the property due to its convenient location, felt "very at home" during their stay. Left with a good impression of their stay at the Citadines London Barbican, the couple looks forward to their next stay at another of Ascott's serviced residences, with the "same quality of both staff and facility we received in London".

The May winner emerged from Ascott's homeground in Singapore. Mr Satoshi Kimura's stay at Somerset Liang Court qualified him for the draw, and he has plans to stay at the property till 1 January 2010. Both Mr Harris and Mr Kimura have each won a 3-night's stay in a one-bedroom or studio apartment at any Ascott serviced residence worldwide.
